Through fundraising, alumni relations, external engagement and partnership working, the Directorate builds meaningful relationships that enhance student success, support research excellence and deliver positive social impact.

About the role

Development Engagement Lead plays a key role in strengthening Goldsmiths’ external relationships, reputation and sustainability. Working across the University, you will lead engagement, communications and storytelling initiatives that inspire advocacy, partnership and philanthropic support from alumni, donors and stakeholders, creating meaningful connections that advance institutional priorities and social impact.

You will be an experienced engagement and communications professional with strong stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to build meaningful relationships. Creative, strategic and collaborative, you will develop compelling communications and engagement initiatives that inspire advocacy, partnership and support from diverse audiences while advancing organisational objectives.

The Development & Fundraising Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Goldsmiths' fundraising and alumni engagement ambitions. Working as part of a collaborative Development & Fundraising team, you will help deliver engaging communications, events and stewardship activities that strengthen relationships with alumni, donors and supporters. Through effective coordination, high-quality data and operational insight, you will enable colleagues to build meaningful connections that inspire advocacy, philanthropic support and long-term engagement with Goldsmiths.

About the candidate

You will be a highly organised, proactive and collaborative professional with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. With experience of working with databases or CRM systems, you will understand how accurate data, effective coordination and operational insight support successful fundraising, alumni engagement and stakeholder engagement. You will enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen connections with alumni, donors and supporters.
