Academic excellence and imaginative course content combine to make a place where creative minds can thrive.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><strong>About the department</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Estates and Facilities is responsible for the strategic management and operational delivery of the University&#39;s estate &mdash; over 80 buildings across a 16-acre campus in New Cross, London. Our Capital Projects team delivers a diverse programme of refurbishment, MEP, fire safety and infrastructure works across academic, residential and heritage buildings.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><strong>About the role</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Working under the direction of the Head of Capital Projects, the post holder will take responsibility for the delivery of allocated capital and minor works projects and provide project management support on larger schemes. They will run procurement processes, administer contracts, engage stakeholders and support statutory compliance across a busy annual capital programme.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><strong>About the candidate</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will bring demonstrable construction project management experience with practical knowledge of construction contracts (JCT), public sector procurement and CDM 2015.
